Joining the club

Attending the Brazos Valley Beekeepers monthly meetings and educational programs is FREE to the public! But with a $25 annual Family Membership, however, you get BENEFITS:

  • Club Equipment: Free use our Honey Extractors and Oxalic Acid Vaporizer
  • Bee Removal List: Get added to our email list to remove swarms/colonies (and get free bees!)
  • Voting Privileges:  Vote for club officers (and be eligible to be one!)

We can accept payments using Zelle, Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal, or using an old fashioned check sent to the treasurer.  Note that we prefer Zelle & Cashapp because those options do not charge us a transaction fee.  The payment address for Zelle & Cashapp is treasurer@bvbeeks.org; the account to use for Venmo is @BVBeeks1 (the phone number associated with both is 979-220-2790). We hope to expand the usefulness of the club website to include the membership list (available only to other members). When this function is available, would you want to be listed on the membership list? The club has several volunteer opportunities for our club members. Please indicate any and all which you would be interested in helping The club runs a Youth Beekeeping Program; one of our fund raisers for the youth is our annual bee school.
